CA: we need automatic data flows for energy, so we’ll partner with sensor makers and data networking firms. Makes sense:
CA announced three new partnerships for its expanding ecoSoftware business unit. The partners include Global Green Consulting Group, a sustainability strategy and business performance consulting firm; Opto 22, a manufacturer of hardware and software products that link electrical, mechanical, and electronic devices to networks and computers; and TrendPoint Systems, a provider of products for power metric tracking at the circuit level.
CA ecoSoftware offers a comprehensive solution for sustainability management, carbon management, environmental assessments and operational energy management.
“CA is building a broad ecosystem of companies to help customers realize the full potential of their sustainability and energy management programs,” said Terrence Clark, SVP and GM of CA ecoSoftware. “We are leveraging the expertise of our partners as a key part of our strategy for delivering comprehensive sustainability solutions to the marketplace.” [more]
